Us Arran Schools Brass Band was set up in May 2004 to allow pupils, who receive brass tuition in our island schools, to meet and play together in one group. Pupils receive individual and group lessons during school time once a week for 30- 40 minutes. Brass tuition is given by Craig Masterton, who is an Instrumental Teacher, employed by North Ayrshire Council's Instrumental Music Service. Instruments and lessons are provided free of charge by North Ayrshire Council. The
brass band meet every Monday after school in Lamlash Primary School
where our participating schools are brought together. |
